USADA announced on Friday that TUF 3 veteran Ricardo Abreu has received a two-year suspension following a positive out-of-competition test result leading up to a UFC fight.
Abreu tested positive in an out-of-competition test administered to him by USADA on June 3rd and popped hot for 19-norandrosterone (19-NA) and 19-noretiocholanolone – both metabolites of banned anabolic steroids.
Abreu’s suspension is retroactive to the July 1st date, so his suspension will be served by July 1, 2018.
