Former UFC middleweight contender Patrick ‘The Predator’ Côté picked up a second straight win after his release from the UFC by earning a decision over opponent Todd Brown. Both men met in the main event of the Ringside MMA 11: Cote vs. Brown event held at Le Colisee in Quebec City, Quebec, Canada.
Also making his mixed martial arts debut was former NHL hockey enforcer Donald Brashear. It took the former hockey tough guy just 21 seconds into the first round to end the fight, earning a TKO victory over opponent Mathieu Bergeron.
Ringside MMA also featured the first bantamweight title bout for the promotion, as Stephane Pelletier would go on to defeat Dimitri Waardenburg at the end of the second round by TKO due to an injury suffered by Waardenburg.
