The journey from fighting on the local circuit to the UFC can be a difficult one. The same can be said for the fighters who have come and gone from the UFC. Working to get back to the place every fighter dreams of. Wondering if they will ever get the shot on the big show again. Former UFC Welterweight Hayder Hassan is getting ready to begin that journey. After his stint on The Ultimate Fighter 21: American Top Team vs The Blackzillian, Hassan went 0-2 in the UFC. His last fight being a submission loss to Vincente Luque in December of last year. With his past behind him, his brother beside him, and his confidence at an all time high. Hayder is ready to show he belongs back in the big show.

Hassan fights Adriano Capitulino on December 2nd, in Coral Gables, FL at Titan FC 42. This fight has Hassan hungry and ready to show the world his  best. “… I’m excited for the matchup. I’m excited to go out there and test myself against an undefeated guy. A guy that’s got a lot of momentum on his side. I’m just excited. This fight is the rebirth of myself. I fought so much last year. I had 6 fights in a little over a year…”

Listen to both interviews and hear Hayder talk about his last loss inside the octagon, what his predictions were for UFC 205, and what it’s going to be like fighting on the same card as his younger brother. Make sure to watch Titan FC 42 on December 2nd, live from Coral Gables, FL exclusively on UFC Fight Pass.
