Robbie Lawler and Carlos Condit will meet up Down Under.

Lawler will defend his UFC welterweight title against the former UFC interim and WEC welterweight champ at UFC 193 on Nov. 14, MMAFighting.com‘s Ariel Helwani reported on Wednesday’s edition of UFC Tonight. The bout will most likely be the card’s main event.

Bleacher Report’s Jeremy Botter initially reported the possibility of the fight.

Lawler (26-10, 1 NC) is coming off his victory over Rory MacDonald at UFC 189 in one of the greatest fights in mixed martial arts history. Trailing 3-1 on the scorecards going into the final round, Lawler finished MacDonald in the fifth for his seventh win in eight fights since returning to the UFC in 2013.

Condit (30-8), meanwhile, has a reputation for exciting fights every bit as solid as Lawler. After more than a year out due to an ACL injury, Condit returned on May 30 and finished Thiago Alves in the second round of a fight in Brazil. That was the 28th win via finish out of Condit’s 30 career wins.

While the date and city are set, the UFC 193’s venue remains undecided.
