Strikeforce women’s bantamweight champion Ronda Rousey visited the Throwdown store for a photo shoot and a quick interview. Rousey wants to prove that she is a champion by defending her title against whoever Strikeforce wants to match her up against.
“It’s always the same for me. If you told me right now I was to fight the same girl, or if we were best friends, or if we hated each other for years leading up to it. I’m always going to fight the same on fight night. The outside things…for some reason I can compartmentalize my mind. It’s always the best performance I can possibly do regardless of the situation. I would fight the same on the first round of a losers pool in Judo as I would in a title fight in MMA. I’m always trying to win as quickly and efficiently as possible.”
