The UFC’s first show in Denmark has landed several interesting matchups.

Several new bouts are set for the UFC’s maiden appearance in Denmark.

The promotion announced late last week that light heavyweights Ion Cutelaba and Khalil Rountree will square off in the Danish capital of Copenhagen. Another bout added to the lineup sees women’s bantamweight prospect Macy Chiasson against Sweden’s Lina Lansberg. On Monday, the UFC also finalized a light heavyweight scrap between Ovince Saint Preux and Michael Oleksiejczuk, and Tuesday they made Alan Amedovski against John Phillips official.

Cutelaba (14-4-1 NC) will look to rebound after a tough loss vs. Glover Teixeira in April. The Moldovan athlete is has only gone the distance twice in his 19-fight career. Rountree (8-3-1 NC) is a hard-hitting prospect who recently dominated Eryk Anders at UFC 236. The 29-year-old TUF alum already has more career UFC fights than non-UFC fights, with his most notable win coming against Gokhan Saki by TKO.

Chiasson (5-0) won The Ultimate Fighter women’s featherweight tournament last year, but opted to drop to bantamweight. So far, so good for the unbeaten 28-year-old, as she’s picked up TKO victories over Gina Mazany and Sarah Moras. Lansberg (9-4) has alternated losses and wins throughout her six-fight stint inside the Octagon, with her last appearance ending in an impressive victory over Tonya Evinger.

OSP (23-13) is arguably in a must-win situation after consecutive losses to Dominick Reyes and Nikita Krylov. Oleksiejczuk (14-2-1 NC) upset Khalil Rountree in his first UFC appearance, but a failed drug test led to a no-contest. He’s since returned with first-round stoppages of Gian Villante and Gadzhimurad Antigulov.

Lastly, Amedovski (8-1) formerly fought in Bellator before making the jump to the UFC. He lost a decision to Krzysztof Jotko at UFC Saint Petersburg in April. Wales’ Phillips (21-9-1 NC) is 0-3 in his UFC career, so this is surely his final chance to say in the promotion.

UFC Copenhagen takes place on Saturday, September 28th and streams live on ESPN+. It is expected that the main event will pit rising middleweight contender Jack Hermansson against Jared Cannonier, although nothing has been confirmed by UFC officials on that front.
