Ronda Rousey’s next venture will take her to the depths of the deepest seas to swim with some of the most vicious sharks known to man.

Or maybe not.

But the former Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) women’s Bantamweight champion-turned WWE Superstar has nabbed a pretty sweet gig with Discovery Channel, as she took to social media to post about her upcoming project for the ever-popular “Shark Week.”

Her partner in crime says it will be “epic.” For those of you living under a rock, here is a quick recap explaining what exactly “Shark Week” is:

“Shark Week is an annual, week-long TV programming block created by Tom Golden at the Discovery Channel, which features shark-based programming. Shark Week originally premiered on July 17, 1988. Featured annually, in July and/or early August, it was originally devoted to conservation efforts and correcting misconceptions about sharks. Over time, it grew in popularity and became a hit on the Discovery Channel. Since 2010, it has been the longest-running cable television programming event in history.”

There have been plenty of high-profile celebs who have taken part in the festivities of “Shark Week,” including Shaquille O’Neal and legendary Olympian Michael Phelps, who last year raced a shark and nearly won. Sort of.

Details as to what Rousey and Co. will be doing is being closely kept under wraps for the time being. The 30th Anniversary edition of “Shark Week” begins on July 22, 2018 at p.m. ET on The Discovery Channel.
