The baddest motherf—r title gets another critic in Anthony “Rumble” Johnson.
Not too many fighters are happy about the inaugural “baddest motherf—r” title fight between Jorge Masvidal and Nate Diaz at UFC 244 this November. After Kevin Lee voiced out his sentiments recently, so did former UFC light heavyweight title contender Anthony Johnson.
“Rumble” was asked by MMA Junkie about what he thought about the “BMF” belt, as well as a possible “Scariest Motherf—r” (SMF) title, and he had this to say.
“Save that sh-t for them little dudes,” Johnson said on Tuesday’s Dominance MMA media day. “If I’m gonna fight for a title, it’s going to be the title that’s going to count, and that’s the heavyweight title. And that’s it.
“I don’t want any of these fake-ass ‘BMF,’ ‘SMF’ or whatever the f—k you want to call that sh-t. I just want to fight for the real title.
“How are you going to act like you win the ‘BMF’ or something – how are you going to go home to your kids and be like, ‘You know what? I won one title: Bad Motherf—r’?’” he continued. “But at the end of the day, they’re going to say the bad motherf—r is going to be the champion, right? So that sh-t is imaginary. It’s trash.”
After announcing his retirement at UFC 210 in 2017, the 35-year-old Johnson had been planning his Octagon return. According to him, both Daniel Cormier and Stipe Miocic inspired him to make a comeback.

During the same media event, Johnson says he’s targeting his return for April of the coming year, but he has yet to re-enter the USADA testing pool.
