Rustam Khabilov vs. Adriano Martins, five other fights announced for UFC Fight Night 61

The UFC will make its first trip to Porto Alegre, Brazil, on Feb. 22, and the promotion has added six more bouts to the UFC Fight Night 61 card.

Headlined by Glover Teixeira and Rashad Evans in a light heavyweight contest, UFN 61 will also feature the return of Rustam Khabilov against Brazilian lightweight Adriano Martins.

Khabilov (17-2) competes for the first time after losing to former champion Ben Henderson in June, snapping a six-fight winning streak, while Martins (26-7) looks to improve to 3-1 under the UFC banner after a first-round knockout win over Juan Manuel Puig.

Also in the lightweight division, Josh Shockley tries to win his first UFC bout against Ivan Jorge. Shockley (11-3-1) was finished by Jason Saggo in his Octagon debut in July, while “Batman” (25-4) tries to get back on track after a decision loss to Rodrigo Damm in February.

The UFC also announced three welterweight match-ups for UFC Fight Night 61. Santiago Ponzinibbio (19-2) will meet undefeated Sean Strickland (15-0), Wendell Oliveira (24-8) takes on T.J. Waldburger (16-9) and William Macario (7-2) battles Matt Dwyer (7-2).

The sixth bout announced for the Porto Alegre card is Cezar Ferreira (8-3) vs. Sam Alvey (24-6). The TUF Brazil middleweight winner returns after scoring a decision win over Andrew Craig in June. Alvey recently scored a first-round KO over Dylan Andrews in November.
