In his long mixed martial arts career, Randy Couture has never finished a fight with a triangle choke. But his son, Ryan Couture, used a triangle to win his professional MMA debut on Friday night, submitting Lucas Stark at the Strikeforce Challengers show in Arizona.
“That’s my favorite, for sure,” Couture said of the triangle, noting that his father doesn’t use the move because “he doesn’t spend much time on his back.”
