The UFC announced on Friday that Andrew Holbrook, who was originally slated to fight Sage Northcutt on the main card of UFC on FOX 18, is out of the fight.
Now, Bryan Barberena will step in to fight Northcutt at the event.
Barberena is 1-1 while in the UFC and was on a seven-fight winning streak before losing his last bout to Chad Laprise at UFC 185 by unanimous decision.
UFC on FOX 18 takes place on January 30th, 2016 at the Prudential Center in Newark, New Jersey. This event will air on UFC Fight Pass and FOX. The fights will start at 3:30 p.m. ET on UFC Fight Pass with three bouts then move over to FOX Sports 1 with six bouts at 5 p.m. ET. The main card starts at 8 p.m. ET on FOX.
Anthony Johnson vs. Ryan Bader will be the headliner of this event, and the winner of this fight will most likely be the number one contender for the UFC light heavyweight title.
