Sean O’Malley has recalled a hilariously grim sparring session.

‘Suga’ was invited to spar by a civilian who didn’t believe he was a fighter.

The UFC bantamweight contender delivered a kick to his opponent’s stomach that led to a disgusting chain of events.

O’Malley explained exactly what happened during a recent appearance on The Full Send podcast.

“He didn’t believe that I was a fighter,” O’Malley said. “Tim [Welch] worked at this UFC gym, so they had a ring, and we brought him over there, not in like a mean way, he wanted to fight me, not fight, he wanted to spar. I f***ing kicked him in the body and he s*** all over the mat. Literally s*** all over the mat. But we didn’t know, we kept going, kept fighting; I stepped in it, stepped in his s***. It was horrible.

“I step in it, we finish the round, and then Tim was like, ‘There’s s***,’ and we thought it was by dog, ’cause we recorded the video. I wish we still had it, dude,” O’Malley added. “It was probably seven or eight years ago… In the video you can see, we thought it was my dog, my little dog was there, so I ended up cleaning it up because I thought it was my dog. We watched the video back; you can see the s*** come out of his shorts… That was the only time anyone ever kind of wanted to fight me and didn’t believe that I was a fighter.” (Transcribed by MMA News)

What’s Next For Sean O’Malley?

‘Suga’ picked up the biggest win of his career when he stopped Raulian Paiva inside one round at UFC 269 on December 11.

Post-fight, Dana White said that it’s time to step up O’Malley’s level of opposition and that he was willing to give the surging 135lb contender a pay rise to make that happen.

The man himself has stated that he’d be interested in taking on Pedro Munhoz or Rob Font next. However, Cody Garbrandt wants to settle his beef with O’Malley inside the Octagon and that might be too big of a fight for either man to turn down.
