When the Ultimate Fighting Championship returns to Japan later this month, fans will be treated to a seven bout main card instead of the normal five matches normally seen for pay-per-view events.
UFC 144: Edgar vs. Henderson features a total of twelve matches for the February 26, 2012 event from the Saitama Super Arena in Saitama, Japan.
Seven matches, including the UFC lightweight title bout between champ Frankie Edgar vs. Ben Henderson, will take place on the main card which will begin in North America at 10pm EST (7pm PST). While the remaining prelim matches will take place on television and via streaming video.
Four bouts will air live on FX television beginning at 8pm EST (5pm PST), with the remaining bout streaming live on Facebook at 7:30pm EST (4:30pm PST).
Promotion officials announced the lineup for UFC 144 today during the events live conference call.
