On Tuesday, a lightweight bout was added to next months UFC 139 event completing the card for the California show.

“Two powerful wrestlers hungry for a win have verbally agreed to fight November 19 at UFC 139 as Danny ‘Last Call’ Castillo will take on Shamar Bailey,” confirmed UFC president Dana White late last night.

With that last match, UFC 139: Shogun vs. Henderson now consists of a twelve-bout card and will take place on Nov. 19 at the HP Pavilion in San Jose, California. The event features a light heavyweight bout between former champ Mauricio ‘Shogun’ Rua who welcomes back the last Strikeforce champ at 205 lbs, Dan Henderson.

Bailey (12-4) is just 1-3 in his last four bouts, having lost a unanimous decision to Evan Dunham at UFN 25 last month as he returned to the lightweight division. Bailey was picked first by Team dos Santos on the thirteenth season of “The Ultimate Fighter” and was eliminated in the quarter-finals. He debuted in the Octagon at the “TUF 13 Finale” last June as a welterweight, earning a unanimous decision over Ryan McGillvray.

Castillo (11-4) dropped his last bout but holds an opposite record to Bailey in his last four, going 3-1 instead. The former WEC fighter suffered a unanimous decision loss to Jacob Volkmann in August at the UFC Live: Hardy vs. Lytle show, while winning his UFC debut in March by decision over Joe Stevenson at the UFC Live: Sanchez vs. Kampmann event.
