As it turns out, his client, UFC featherweight champion Jose Aldo, was recovering from an undisclosed infection and was on antibiotics until the Monday prior to his fight with Mark Hominick at UFC 129.
Aldo’s cornerman did, in fact, make reference to medication while inside the cage after his unanimous-decision victory this past Saturday in the co-main draw of the record-breaking event.
