Chael Sonnen takes more jabs at Tito Ortiz.
Tito Ortiz’s last win against former WWE star Alberto “El Patron” Del Rio in December has been overturned by the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation. It is now officially ruled as a “no decision,” and the commission stated that the result was changed “pending further investigation.”
While details were scarce, and no official reason has been announced for the change, that’s not really something that would stop Chael Sonnen from taking jabs at his former rival. He took to Twitter to do just that soon after the news broke.
Commission working to articulate why Ortiz/Del Rio was changed to “No Contest”. Potential phrases being considered:
“Fake Fight”
“Fraudulent Combat”
“Phony-Baloney Cash Grab”
“We Got Fooled by a Serial Liar”And, finally, my personal favorite:

As Sonnen alluded to, this wasn’t the first time he suggested that the entire thing was actually just a work, while making fun of Ortiz. Here’s a string of tweets he posted last December.

Sonnen and Ortiz fought back in 2017, with the latter winning by a first round submission. While it never went on their official record, Ortiz has been taking a bunch verbal submission losses to Sonnen since.
