Television broadcast network Spike TV is set to broadcast two more “UFC Prelims” for the upcoming UFC: 133: Evans vs. Davis and UFC 134: Silva vs. Okami.
Spike announced the special for UFC 133 recently, while MMAjunkie.com learned of the second prelim special from the broadcaster itself.
Fans in the United States will be able to tune into Spike TV come fight day beginning at 8PM EST (5PM PST) for the two-bout prelim special, while fans in Canada can turn the channel to Rogers Sportsnet for the live broadcast.
UFC 133: Evans vs. Davis is scheduled for Aug. 6 at the Wells Fargo Center in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Featured on the prelim special will be a light heavyweight bout between Vladimir Matyushenko vs. Alexander Gustafsson, and a featherweight match featuring Chand Mendes vs. Rani Yahya.
UFC 134: Silva vs. Okami is scheduled for later the same month, Aug. 27, and will take place at the HSBC Arena in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. The two featured matches include a lightweight bout between Thiago Tavares vs. Spencer Fisher and a welterweight bout featuring Paulo Thiago vs. David Mitchell.
There are four remaining preliminary bouts for both events and it’s highly likely that the UFC will stream those matches on Facebook like they have done in the past.
