Staredowns! Nunes, Holm Square Off In Atlanta

In case you weren’t already excited enough with the upcoming UFC 236: “Holloway vs. Poirier 2” pay-per-view (PPV) event, taking place this Sat. night (April 13, 2019) inside State Farm Arena in Atlanta, Georgia, the promotion recently gave fight fans a glimpse of what else is coming down the pipe in the next few months.

Front and center at today’s UFC Seasonal press conference (watch the replay here) was the women’s 135-pound title fight pitting reigning division champion, Amanda Nunes, against ex-bantamweight champion, Holly Holm, who collide in the UFC 239 co-main event. We expected to lead with the Jon Jones vs. Thiago Santos; however, “Bones” was a no-show due to illness.
