Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) held its official media day earlier today in “The Empire State” for the upcoming UFC 244 pay-per-view (PPV) event, taking place this Sat. night (Nov. 2, 2019) inside Madison Square Garden in New York City.
Sorry, but headlining welterweights and resident “Bad Mother Fuckers,” Jorge Masvidal and Nate Diaz, were excused from their staredown duties because (cough) “gangsters” are too busy doing gangster shit like hanging out in the hotel lobby and yelling at blind men.
We did, however, get one half of the co-main event staredown. Middleweight contender Kelvin Gastelum was forced to take the stage solo because opponent Darren Till isn’t arriving until Friday, thanks to those pesky visa issues.
And if you’re butthurt that I called Johnny Walker a klutz for tripping over his own two feet and dropping his phone, just remember this is the same light heavyweight who injured himself during his “goofy” post-fight “worm” back in March.
