Stephan Bonnar seems to be the US Representative of the UFC as he is now set to fight Karlos Vemola, a Czechoslovakian fighter who won a TKO victory over Seth Petruzelli at UFC 122 back in November. This will be Bonnar’s third match-up against a European fighter (fourth if you include the back-to-back Krzysztof Soszynski fights). Bonnar tweeted about the upcoming UFC on Versus 5 tilt from his TrashTalkinKids account today:
“Who is karlos vermola? That’s ez, Bonnar’s next fight! Just released @Jon_anik and @ngaugeinc are the first 2 know. yeah dewd!!!”
We always appreciate Bonnar’s sense of humor and his inference that he doesn’t know who the f*@# Karlos Vemola is either. It’s good to see Bonnar’s have-fun-with-it attitude at this point in his career. I mean, what the hell, right? It’s a fight!
