Strikeforce World Grand Prix Heavyweight Tournament Final poster
The Strikeforce promotion returns to it’s former home at the HP Pavilion in San Jose, California this evening (May 19, 2012) for the Strikeforce: Barnett vs. Cormier event.
Tonight’s event is the culmination of a heavyweight tournament that began over a year ago. Meeting in the final will be former UFC champion Josh ‘The Warmaster’ Barnett and former US Olympian Daniel Cormier.
The Showtime telecast main card for the Strikforce World Grand Prix Tournament Final begins at 10pm EST/PST (tape delay on the West Coast). While the prelim card aired on Showtime Extreme live earlier this evening.
