Former Strikeforce women’s bantamweight champ Miesha Tate recently returned to the gym, and that means a fight isn’t far away.

“We don’t have anything to announce officially, but I believe you’ll see her back in the cage in a relatively quick manner,” Strikeforce CEO Scott Coker on Wednesday told MMAjunkie.com Radio. “She’s pretty much healed up and ready to start training. But you’ll see her back in the cage the early part of fall.”

Tate suffered ligament and muscle tears to her left arm before she submitted to current champ Ronda Rousey this past March. The loss snapped a six-fight win streak.
