Strikeforce CEO Scott Coker isn’t worried about injuries during the promotions upcoming World Grand Prix heavyweight tournament. Coker explains that normal tournaments are held over one or two nights and the fighter you don’t expect to win does. By holding it over the coming year, fighters will be allowed to heal up for their next fight and will be able to remain in the tournament after a win despite any injuries they’ve incurred.
