The Neveda State Athletic Commission released the fighter salaries for this past weekends Strikeforce Challengers 20 event, disclosing a payroll of $97,500 for last Friday’s event.
Strikeforce Challengers 20 took place at The Pearl at the Palms Casino Resort in Las Vegas, Nevada on Nov. 18, 2011. The main card was shown on Showtime.
The top payout went to Adlan Amagov who earned $10,600 for his first round knockout of opponent Anthony Smith on the main card. Smith was fined $600 of his “Show” money for failing to make weight, which was subsequently awarded to his opponents purse.
Notable winners from the event include Lumumba Sayers who earned a 28-second knockout of Antwain Britt in the main event. As well as female fighter Ronda Rousey, who stayed undefeated by earning her fourth pro-bout in under a minute with her fourth arm-bar submission. Rousey stopped Canadian fighter Julia Budd in the co-main event.
The following salaries do not include any undisclosed bonuses or money paid by sponsors.
