The latest event from the Strikeforce promotion is underway at Nationwide Arena in Columbus, Ohio. Tonight’s Strikeforce: Feijao vs. Henderson event kicked off with the preliminary card at 7:30 PM EST (4:30PM PST), with the Showtime telecast beginning at 10PM EST for the events main card.
The Strikeforce event features two title bouts on the main card as light heavyweight champ Rafael “Feijão” Cavalcante (10-2) defends his title for the first time against former PRIDE champ Dan “Hendo” Henderson (26-8) in the main event. Women’s welterweight champion Marloes Coenen (18-4) also defends her title for the first time in the co-main event against undefeated Liz “Girl-Rilla” Carmouche (5-0).
Also featured on the Showtime broadcast are bouts between middleweights Tim Kennedy vs. Melvin Manhoef, and lightweights Billy Evangelista vs. Jorge Masvidal.
