LAS VEGAS – In less than one month, Strikeforce will promote an MMA
event in Las Vegas for the first time in the organization’s history.

And while the July 22 event, “Strikeforce Challengers 17: Voelker vs.
Bowling 3” had already been announced, the company now has the license
to do it.

Forza, LLC, the Zuffa, LLC subsidiary charged with running the
recently-acquired promotion, was today granted a promoter’s license in
the state of Nevada, and Nevada State Athletic Commission executive
director Keith Kizer revealed the company is planning to host a total of
four events in Sin City before year’s end.
