The final Strikeforce event takes place tonight with the Strikeforce: Marquardt vs. Saffiedine show from the Chesapeake Energy Arena in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.
The January 12, 2013 event is headlined by a Strikeforce middleweight title champ Nate Marquardt who defends his title for the first, and only time, versus top contender Tarec Saffiedine. The co-main event has Heavyweight Grand Prix Tournament winner Daniel Cormier meeting promotion newcomer Dion Staring.
Both of those matches are set to air on Showtime, with the main card airing at 10pm EST (7pm PST). Part of the prelim card is set to air live on Showtime Extreme starting at 8pm EST. The event kicks off at approx. 7pm EST (4pm PST) with the opening two, unaired, prelim bouts.
