Mixed martial arts wasn’t Strikeforce prospect Bobby Stack’s first
choice of sport. In fact, it wasn’t even second.
Those spots went to wrestling, which Stack competed in
during high school and college, and football, in which the Northern
Californian made it all the way to the semi-professional level.
Sometimes, he even enjoyed them simultaneously.
“Straight double-leg takedowns all day long,” Stack told MMAjunkie.com
Radio in regards to his approach to football. “I was a little bit slower
on the coverage, but I definitely liked to get up in the mix and use my
wrestling skills.”
