Kristina Myalina was found dead on a ledge of an entrance hall on Moscow’s Krondshtatsky boulevard. 

A Russian Thai boxing champion was found dead after falling from a building in Moscow.

Russian media reported that Kristina Myalina, a 26-year-old professional athlete and martial arts champion, was found in front the visitor’s entrance of a residential Moscow building with fatal wounds that showed she had fallen from a significant height. According to reports, Myalina fell from the eighth floor of the building.

Myalina won the Russian Cup in Thai boxing and was a gifted athlete who won several other championships in Moscow and the surrounding region. She was also a candidate for a Masters of Sports but decided to retire from the sport and move onto the next stage of her life. When asked about her athletic career, Oleg Chuprina, the president of the Thai Boxing Federation, revealed that Myalina had already retired from active competition.

“I know that she died, but I don’t know the details. She performed at the Thai boxing tournaments in 2012-2013, won the Russian Cup in 2013, and performed at the European Championship the same year. Since then, she has completed her career.

The details surrounding Myalina’s death remain unclear. Her body has been taken for forensic examination.
