On the 27th of July, 2019, the UFC went to Edmonton, Alberta, Canada, to bring us UFC 240 via PPV on ESPN+. The event featured a Featherweight Title Fight featuring Max Holloway defending his title against Frankie Edgar, which ended with “Blessed” defeating “The Answer” via Unanimous Decision after five vigorous rounds going at each other. This, following our co-main event, which featured Women’s Featherweights Cris Cyborg defeating Felicia Spencer also via Unanimous Decision. We got our one finish on the main card with Geoff Neal winning via KO/TKO-Ground & Pound at 2:39 in Round 2 against Niko Price, preceded by Arman Tsarukyan defeating Olivier “OAM” Aubin-Mercier via Unanimous Decision despite OAM having trained with GSP, as well as a Split Decision between Krzysztof Jotko and Marc-Andre Barriault. The remainder of the card was was a mixed bag with some decisions and a handful of finishes… stay tuned in the player above for all the details of the event.
