Zane Simon, Connor Ruebusch, & Phil Mackenzie return to once again watch the worst MMA they can find. This week they’re taking on Bob Sapp vs. Choi Hong-Man, Dario Amorim vs. Bob Gilstrap, and Kiyoshi Tamura vs. Aliev Makhmud.
A rare week in 2019 without a UFC bout means it’s time to take on all that is inauspicious in mixed martial arts. No, not the latest MMA Twitter feud—it’s time for the MMA Depressed-us. After nine-straight week’s of UFC action, we’ve been itching to get back to the best of what’s bad. So, we’re watching Bob Sapp’s 2005 K-1 World Grand Prix kickboxing bout against everyone’s favorite Korean giant, Choi Hong-Man. Before that, we’re watching a classic bare-knuckle vale tudo war between Dario Amorim and Bob Gilstrap. And starting off the show, a PRIDE FC classic: Kiyoshi Tamura vs. Aliev Makhumd from PRIDE 29: Fists of Fire.

Connor will do his best to try and tell you when round 1 gets underway just in case you’re using a different version of the fights than we are.
