A light heavyweight bout between Brazilian striker Thiago Silva (14-3) and undefeated Bulgarian fighter Stanislav Nedkov (12-0) is rumored for the Ultimate Fighting Championships first visit to China as part of the UFC on FUEL TV: Le vs. Franklin event.

News of the matchup is being reported by Sherdog (@SherdogRewind) who confirmed the news with Silva’s manager Glenn Robinson.

UFC on Fuel TV 6 is expected to occur on November 10, 2012 at the CotaiArena in Macau, China.

Silva had been scheduled to face Mauricio ‘Shogun’ Rua this past July but was forced off the card due to injury. The Brazilian returned from a years suspension this past April at UFC Sweden, where he lost a decision to Alexander Gustafsson. The Brazilian is 1-3 with 1 “No Contest” in his last five Octagon appearances. Silva’s last official win was via first round knockout over Keith Jardine at UFC 102.

Nedkov debuted with the UFC almost a year ago in Brazil by stopping Luiz Cane via first round TKO at UFC 134. He had been scheduled to face Fabio Maldonado at UFC 142 but visa issues forced him to withdraw from the event. Nedkov had been scheduled to debut with the UFC twice before UFC 134, at UFC 120 against Steve Cantwell and at UFC 117 against Rodney Wallace, but injuries to Cantwell and to the Bulgarian himself forced a delay in his first Octagon match.
