Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) president Dana White continues to strike gold with his in-depth mixed martial arts (MMA) efforts.
While White is tasked with handling a full roster of fluctuating UFC stars trying to call their own shots, the 48-year-old combat guru has still managed to evolve his own show, “Dana White’s Tuesday Night Contender Series” (DWTNCS), into one of the best, if not the most promising, talent-finding competition in MMA.
Thus far, DWTNCS has featured up-and-coming prospects like “Sugar” Sean O’Malley, Karl Roberson, Julian Marquez, Lauren Mueller, and Charles Byrd, just to name a few. In many cases, the show has produced comparable talent to that of The Ultimate Fighter (TUF).
Luckily, DWTNCS is coming back for a second season starting June 12 live from the TUF gym in Las Vegas. In preparation for the show’s second installment, UFC has released a gnarly promo video (shown above).
With noticeable names like former NFL star Greg Hardy, one-armed veteran Nick Newell, and former kickboxer Antonina Shevchenko (sister of UFC flyweight Valentina Shevchenko), the second season of DWTNCS should offer as much fire power as the first.
