UFC Strawweight Champion Weili Zhang has 17 finishes in 20 wins, 10 of them by knockout, which ranks her alongside Cris Cyborg and Amanda Nunes as one of the most violent female finishers in the sport. And her one and only loss came by way of decision way back in 2013 when “Magnum” was just 23.
That’s probably why the bookies have Zhang as the odds-on betting favorite for her UFC 248 co-main event against former 115-pound champion, Joanna Jedrzejczyk, in a bout scheduled for March 7, 2020 inside T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada.
“The real and most dangerous enemies we face in life are fear, anger, confusion, doubt and despair,” Zhang wrote. “If we overcome those who attack from within, then we can certainly defeat any attack from outside.”
Judging by the violent punches she uncorks in the video above, I’d say her mission is complete. Whether or not that translates to victory against the Polish piston remains to be seen, but I would not want to be a Jedrzejczyk fan after watching this video.
