You asked for it, and the Ultimate Fighting Championship has answered by adding three more bouts to this weekends UFC Fight Night 24 (aka UFC Fight Night: Nogueira vs. Davis) event this Saturday.
Added to the live Facebook.com/UFC stream, which now begins at 7:30PM EST (4:30PM PST), includes a welterweight match John “The Hitman” Hathaway (14-1) vs. Kris “Savage” McCray (5-2), bantamweights Michael “Mayday” McDonald (11-1) vs. Edwin Figueroa (7-0), and heavyweights Sean “Big Sexy” McCorkle (10-1) vs. Christian Morecraft (6-1).
UFC Fight Night 24 takes place this Saturday, March 26, at the Key Arena in Seattle, Washington. The main card will air live on Spike TV beginning at 10PM EST (7PM PST).
Those three bouts join two already announced between featherweights Alex “Bruce Leroy” Caceres (4-2) vs. Mackens “Mack da Menace” Semerzier (5-3) and heavyweights Jon Madsen (7-0) vs. Mike Russow (13-1).
This is the seventh straight UFC event to feature a Facebook broadcast, the first event was the UFC: Fight for the Troops 2 show last January. The UFC has utilized other venues to provide fans with free fights that include televised broadcasts on Spike TV and ION television.
