Undefeated heavyweight sensation Tyson Fury (27-0-1, 19 KOs) will put his No. 1 ranking on the line later tonight (Sat., June 15, 2019) live on ESPN+ from inside MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada, when he squares off with young German heavyweight champion Tom Schwarz (24-0, 16 KOs).
Considering Fury is coming off an incredible fight with Deontay Wilder, which ended in a draw this past December, tonight’s main event clash with Schwarz should attract even more interest than usual. After all, Fury is expected to rematch Wilder later this year so a loss to any fighter at this point would be crippling.
But when exactly can ESPN+ subscribers expect “Gypsy King” and Schwarz to step inside of the boxing ring for their main event fight?
Boxing is always tricky to time given the lengthy in-event promotions and introductions, but Fury and Schwarz should begin their respective walks to the ring sometime around 11:30 p.m. ET (subject to change so keep it tuned into Mania for any updates). That will be right after Sullivan Barrera steps up on short notice to challenge light heavyweight fighter Jesse Hart.
Make sure you don’t miss the action as Fury tries to solidify his ranking as boxing’s best heavyweight and create even more hype around his potential rematch with “Bronze Bomber.”
