Justin Gaethje will look to become the first fighter to defend the “BMF” title later tonight (Sat., April 13, 2024) at UFC 300 live on ESPN+ PPV from inside T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada. Standing in his way will be former UFC featherweight champion Max Holloway, who is making his first appearance at 155 pounds since 2019.
Despite UFC 300 being the most stacked combat card of all time, fight fans are looking forward to Gaethje vs. Holloway the most. That’s because both fighters are two of the biggest fan favorites on the roster. Not to mention the fact that Gaethje is the king of post-fight bonuses and Holloway holds the record for most strikes landed in UFC history. It’s a receipt for absolute violence.
Gaethje is even willing to die Saturday night to get the job done.
Taking everything into account, Gaethje vs. Holloway is one of the biggest can’t-miss fights of 2024. Not only for the action itself, but also because the “BMF” title is on the line and the winner will position themselves close to a real title shot at 155 pounds. That even goes for Holloway, who could take the lightweight division by storm with a memorable win over “Highlight.”
So when can fight fans expect Gaethje and Holloway to make their respective walks to the cage on a UFC 300 card stacked from top to bottom?
The UFC 300 PPV main card is scheduled to begin at 10 p.m. ET, but Gaethje vs. Holloway will be the third fight on the docket. Their “BMF” scrap will come after an opening middleweight bout between Bo Nickal and Cody Brundage and a lightweight contender’s fight between Charles Oliveira and Arman Tsarukyan. That means Gaethje vs. Holloway should start sometime around 11:15 p.m. ET.
Of course, this start time could change depending on the outcome of the two fights before it. If things run late (or early) Mania will be sure to provide an updated start time for tonight’s highly-anticipated “BMF” title fight.
