The wait is over as former Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) Welterweight champion Tyron Woodley meets social media star Jake Paul in a boxing main event later tonight (Sun., Aug. 29, 2021) live on FITE pay-per-view (PPV) from inside Rocket Mortgage FieldHouse in Cleveland, Ohio.

This wasn’t the most important fight to make, but it’s been gaining steam for quite some time. Paul and Woodley do not like one another and they’re both aiming for a knockout performance tonight on PPV. Woodley will have a lot to lose considering he’s a former world champion making his professional boxing debut, but if Paul gets beaten his recent rise in combat sports will fizzle out almost instantaneously.

That said, it’s a matchup that everyone will be talking about at the water cooler on Monday. You won’t want to miss the action for one second, but when exactly can we expect Paul vs. Woodley to start?

Thanks to a fully-loaded PPV card featuring championships bouts, heavyweight prospects, and grudge matches, Paul vs. Woodley is expected to begin sometime around 11:30 p.m. ET. If things run late (or early) Mania will be sure to provide an updated start time for tonight’s Paul vs. Woodley main event. Stay tuned!

MMAmania.com will deliver LIVE coverage of tonight’s main card right here. The $59.99 Showtime/FITE PPV kicks off at 8 p.m. ET, with Paul and Woodley likely to make the walk closer to 11:30 p.m. ET.
