A potential trilogy fight between Chuck Liddell and Tito Ortiz somehow still managed to stay in the headlines years after a third fight between them was axed years ago. And even though their best years are way behind them, the former Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) Light Heavyweight champions apparently still want to punch each other. UFC President Dana White, though, wants no part of it.

Not even as a spectator.

Speaking to TMZ, White implored anyone close to Liddell to dissuade him from fighting again, since a 50-year old man has no business inside a cage.

“No, I couldn’t do that fight. I love Chuck Liddell. I love him. And as a friend, I don’t think he should fight. Chuck’s almost 50 years old … 50-year-old’s shouldn’t be fighting.”

Not too mention that a trilogy fight probably doesn’t make sense at this point since Liddell demolished Ortiz in both their prior meetings. That said, if they really want to exchange hands again, it would behoove them to try and convince Bellator MMA head cheese Scott Coker to give them the opportunity.
