TUF 26 full cast: Female flyweights to compete for inaugural UFC title
UFC and Invicta vets make up the TUF 26 roster.
During the UFC Fight Night: Mexico City broadcast, the promotion announced the full list of participants for the upcoming 26th season of The Ultimate Fighter. The long running reality show will kick off the organization’s 125 lb division, and will be crowning the inaugural UFC flyweight champion.
The coaches will be lightweights Eddie Alvarez and Justin Gaethje, and the more notable competitors on the show are probably Barb Honchak, Roxy Modafferri, and Lauren Murphy.
Honchak is a former Invicta FC flyweight champ, who never lost her title in the cage. She used to be one of the top pound for pound female fighters before suddenly being inactive for almost 3 years. Modafferi is a UFC and Invicta vet, who has had a resurgence since moving back up to 125 lbs. Lastly, Murphy is a UFC bantamweight and former 135 lb champ with Invicta, who is dropping down a division.
