UFC Mexico got a bit too crazy.
After UFC Mexico’s headliner ended in a 15-second no-contest, the local crowd in the arena was furious and started throwing bottles, beer, popcorn and pretty much anything they could get their hands on. In the middle of all the madness, headliner Jeremy Stephens was escorted out by security to protect him, while UFC commentator Brendan Fitzgerald hid under the table to shield himself from the debris.
Fitzgerald then took to twitter after the event to poke fun on his situation.
“Now the work is done. Time for a post fight margarita here at the hotel,” he wrote.

The longer clip showing the commentators’ reaction is worth watching. It’s nice to see Fitzgerald not only still be able to do his job extremely well, but he also was able to joke about it all after.
