Jason High has a new opponent, and a flyweight fight has been added, to the upcoming UFC Fight Night 35 fight card in Duluth, Ga. on Jan. 15, according to UFC officials Tuesday night.
High will now square off against Beneil Dariush in a welterweight contest. High has won two of his past three UFC fights, including a unanimous decision over Anthony Lapsley at UFC 167 this past November. He was originally supposed to face Adlan Amagov but he withdrew from the fight for undisclosed personal reasons.
Dariush (6-0) will be making his UFC debut.
Alptekin Ozkilic will face Louis Smolka in a flyweight match. Ozkilic defeated Darren Uyenoyama in his UFC debut at UFC on FOX 9 on Dec. 14. Smolka (6-0) will be making his UFC debut.
