A pair of Bellator veterans will collide at the upcoming Titan FC card in Tampa, Fla.
Tyler Stinson and Jose Figueroa, welterweight veterans who fought for promotions like Bellator, Strikeforce and M-1 Global, will clash in a late addition to the main card of Titan FC 31 on Oct. 31, Titan FC COO Lex McMahon confirmed to MMAFighting.com following a report by MMA Junkie.
Stinson (27-10) makes his Titan FC debut coming off a loss to UFC’s Josh Burkman at WSOF 9. “The Evolution,” who fought the likes of Tarec Saffiedine and Jordan Main in Strikeforce, was 4-0 since leaving the promotion in 2012.
Figueroa (13-6), a former M-1 Global lightweight champion, is undefeated since moving up to the welterweight division. In his last bout, the American Top Team product scored a first-round TKO victory over Dominique Steele.
Headlined by a lightweight title fight between Mike Ricci and Yoshiyuki Yoshida, Titan FC 31 takes place at the USF Sun Dome in Tampa. In the co-main event, Miguel Torres looks for his fourth straight win against Desmond Green.
