Former UFC welterweight champion Tyron Woodley isn’t willing to go overseas to take a fight.

Former UFC welterweight champion Tyron Woodley has not fought since he lost to Kamaru Usman at UFC 235 in March. While he has not determined the date of his next fight yet, what he is sure of is that he won’t be fighting outside the United States any time soon.

In a recent social media live stream, Woodley said he was offered to be part of the UFC’s London card in March, which he vehemently declined.

“I’m ready to fight soon, man,” Woodley said (transcript by BJPenn.com). “They want me to fight in London. F—k that, I’m not going all the way to London to fight. I’m the five-time world champion, I’m gonna fight f—king here.

“January 18th, January 25th, February 8th, I wanna fight in the States. I don’t wanna go out of the country and fight. When I go out of the country I wanna be on vacation.”

Throughout his ten-year professional career, Woodley only fought thrice outside the United States. The first time was in 2013 at UFC 161 in Winnipeg, and the two that followed happened a year later in Vancouver and Macau, China, respectively.
