Spike TV’s “UFC Prelims” broadcast for UFC 118, which precedes the night’s pay-per-view telecast, has undergone some changes in the wake of fighter injuries.
Spike TV officials today announced that the one-hour special now features a pair of lightweight preliminary-card bouts with Joe Lauzon vs. Gabe Ruediger and Nik Lentz vs. Andre Winner. A bout between Gerald Harris and Joe Vedepo has been demoted.
UFC 118 takes place Aug. 28 at the TD Garden in Boston.
