LAS VEGAS – MMAjunkie.com was on scene and reporting live from today’s official UFC 137 fighter
weigh-ins, where headliners B.J. Penn and Nick Diaz made weight before a
brief scuffle.
Penn weighed 169 pounds and Diaz 170 pounds, but when the fighters went
nose to nose during the customary face-off, things became heated and
required quick intervention as shoving broke out.
Today’s festivities took place at Las Vegas’ Mandalay Bay Events Center, which also hosts Saturday’s pay-per-view event.
