Toronto’s Air Canada Centre was the scene of today’s official UFC 140: Jones vs. Machida weigh-ins.
The Air Canada Centre will also host Saturday’s (Dec. 10, 2011) live event on pay-per-view.
A total of twenty-four fighters stepped onto the scales with just one fighter failing to make weight for his respective bout.
ION television prelim fighter Dennis Hallman came in 2.5 lbs over the 156-lb limit for his lightweight fight with John Makdessi, and failed to make weight twice. He has been fined 20% of his purse.
Meanwhile, headliners UFC light heavyweight Jon Jones (205) and challenger Lyoto Machida (204) were both on target for their title match. Co-main event heavyweights Frank Mir (260) and Antonio Rodrigo Nogueira (239) were also on weight.
