The tested veteran derailed the hype train of welterweight Stephen “Wonderboy” Thompson and overcame late-fight fatigue to claim a hard-fought unanimous-decision victory.
The fight was part of tonight’s UFC 145 event at Atlanta’s Phillips Arena. The preliminary-card bout aired on FX following earlier Facebook prelims and prior to the pay-per-view main card.
