– More #UFC158 fight news as bantamweights @GeorgeRoop and @ReubenDuranUFC have agreed to fight March 16th in Montreal at the Bell Centre.
UC 158: St-Pierre vs. Diaz is expected to take place on March 16, 2013 at the Bell Centre in Montreal, Quebec, Canada. The pay-per-view card is set to host a UFC welterweight title match between champ Georges St-Pierre and former Strikeforce champ Nick Diaz.
Roop has dropped back-to-back fights and is 1-3 in his last four matches. Roop had been connected to a fight with Yuri Alcantara last month at UFC on FX 6 but was forced out with an injury. Another injury forced Roop out of another fight last summer at UFC 149 versus Antonio Carvalho. His last Octagon appearance went down in January 2012 following a second round TKO loss to Cub Swanson.
Duran is another fighter looking for a win with a 1-2 record in his three Octagon appearances. ‘Hurricane’ fought last December at the TUF 16 Finale and suffered a first round knockout loss to Hugo Viana at the Vegas event. Duran’s only UFC win took place in June 2011 at the TUF 13 Finale with a third round submission over Francisco Rivera.
