Last time Anthony Perosh stepped into the Octagon, he was on the wrong end of a seven-second knockout at the hands of Ryan Jimmo.

Saturday, he decided the best way to rebound from such a defeat is to provide a flash knockout of your own.

Vinny Magalhaes walked straight into a big right hand to the jaw at the outset of their UFC 163 bout at Rio’s HSBC Arena. The 41-year old Perosh pounced on the fallen Magalhaes and landed a series of hammerfists before referee Mario Yamasaki called of the fight.

Official time of the victory for the Sydney, Australia native was just 14 seconds.

With the victory, which was the third fastest KO in UFC light heavyweight history, Perosh improved to 14-7, with wins in four of his past five fights.

Magalhaes (10-7-1, 1 NC) dropped to 1-4 in his UFC career over two stints.
